What Not To Wear?

I recently got a new suit and was brave enough to wear it to a community pool. Two friends with me really disliked it. They didn't comment on the cut but they hated the pattern. I felt like I was on the show What Not To Wear, when people are told the clothes they've worn for years are awful.
Personally I think the pattern is a bit bold but not too bad. One friend called it feminine. I like the material of the suit and i think my butt looks pretty good so I am thinking of getting another one in a different pattern. So I'm asking for some honest feedback on the cut of the suit (not the messy bedroom). And is the pattern really that bad?
Here is me in a more squarecut and speedo style just as comparison
Thanks

Personally, I don't like the pattern. You look better in the other 2 pics.

Yeah, the bottom right blue is the best, the top one looks like a child's suit from the 50's. The cut might not be that bad in a solid color, but really, the skimpier cuts look better on you.

Thanks guys. I'm glad to hear I don't look bad in the aussiebum Tuff-Az (the bottom right one). It's only my favorite suit.

I agree - with a body like yours, you can easily get away with something skimpier like the Aussiebums. Yum.

I agree with budgybloke, the skimpier one looks the best.

Hi Zwimmer
Yeah - new avatar. That's what happens when I'm stuck indoors (due to bloody rain) with camera! I get up to all sorts of digital shenanigans.

Your right. If the first suit was cut lower in the front, it would look better.
Cut high it looks retro.
And your avatar is awesome budgy.

Hey Maddtown!
I think the first suit should be cut lower in front to bring out more of, umm, well, your budgy. Your butt looks great! The pattern is sort of retro/classic and would look better with the lower cut.

I'm not sure there is anything that can bring out my budgy
It's a shame I can't take the suit to a tailor to be modified. This is why I wish I could make my own swimwear.

maddtown!
There's a company where you can custom order suits by butt size, pouch size, and other dimensions.
People have posted it here. Just can't think of the name.
And your budgy looks awesome in the square cut!!!

Thanks, but if you saw what was inside you would sue me for false advertising. I should wear a warning, "Objects in square cuts appear larger than actual size."

Hmmm - I think you're being too hard on yourself (no pun intended) maddtown. From what we see in the photos, you've got more than a handful.

Regardless of size, you have to know how to use it properly.

Hi Maddtown:
I agree with everyone. Last two are the best although I like square cut and you look hot in your square.
Cheers,
Mick
