Have you swam in the Serpentine in Hyde Park? Next time I'm in London I plan to join the group that does. I understand it's a membership thing, but was told if I made a donation to the group they'd gladly accept a guest from Texas to join them.
Here's hoping it's not in the middle of winter when it's iced over that I make it back. I've seen that they break the ice and still get in to swim.
