Early 90s rainbows?

Ok. When I was younger, two of my school friends had speedos which were rainbow designs. The date would have been 1992-1993. The rainbows weren't stripes. Rather, it was more like rainbow ice-cream - all the colours blending and melting into each other and the speedo fabric was shimmery.

Does anyone know who manufactured these speedos and whether they're still available anywhere?

Here are a few that sound similar to what you are describing.
Even if they aren't the specific one your referring to, they are still worth viewing.

Three more of another in the next post,
and 2 more of another in the post after that.

Thanks for posting those pics, Scot! The feedback on this site is really great. Very kind of you, bro. :P

Hmm. The speedos you've featured aren't exactly like the ones I'm thinking of. Just from memory, the nineties ones had more creamy pinks and yellows, and were rainbow on both front and back panels. However, they probably don't make 'em anymore. What a shame.

As for the rainbows you posted. Actually, they're pretty cool. Not bad at all. They're more shimmery than the 90s ones and I'd probably purchase a pair if I saw them in a shop.

Awesome help, mate. Thanks heaps.

Cheers,
Duncan.

No. It is Anton, a Russian kid who modeled for a guy who sold speedos on E-Bay. He hasn't been active for over a year, so I e-mailed him today. He said that Anton moved to San Francisco for school, and he hasn't taken the time to photograph another model yet. He says he still has around 50 Thai Speedos to sell. I encouraged him to get active on E-Bay again, because he always had some very rare and interesting speedos for sale. He offered all 50 to me, but we haven't talked size or price. I'm sure his suits fetched a far better price because of Anton. I should get all 50 and have newspeedo or one of the other WSF hotties model them, and sell them on E-Bay.
