Aussiebum tuff-az

Post by Bazrio05 » Fri Aug 28, 2009 7:18 am

Hi fellow swimwear enthusiests, has anyone purchased or worn the aussiebum tuff-az swimsuit? Is it really as durable as they sell it to be? How about the fabrics feel, being polyester?
If the fit and feel is good, is it a better purchase then the classic cut they offer?
They would be used mainly for indoor swimming and the ocasional saltwater.
I have other suits to wear at the beachs, but wouldn't mind a new swimmer.
Thx for your posts guys.

Woohoo, a thread about my favorite swimwear! I have three of the four tuff-az colors. And its what I'm wearing in my avatar.

First I should say that I can't make any claims about the durability of the suit. I wore one once a week for a few months before I gave up swimming. Not exactly a good test of how long they will last, but the suit I used held up fine.

I can tell you why I like them so much. I love the cut and they way they look on me. I think it has to do with the fabric. The aussiebum classic nylon suits are fine but the polyester tuff-az just look smoother on me. Thats especially true when compared with the new wonderjock classics which I'm not too happy with. Granted the nylon is a bit silkier but once I have them on, I don't notice a difference in how the material feels.

I'm disappointed that the tuff-az keep moving down the page on the aussiebum site. I keep hoping for new colors but I'm guessing they will disappear once aussiebum sells out of the current colors.
