Since I am not "well endowed", I have a different viewpoint on this topic. I admit that I like to wear things that give my stuff a little lift.

If you look through the photos on the boards, there are plenty of comments like "wow, you have a great package", or "love the way you fill your suit". In fact I too like to see pic's of guys with big packages and have posted that type of comment.

I think that everyone likes to get positive comments about the way they look. By wearing something that gives everything a lift, I'm not trying to make it bigger. I am just trying to make it a little more noticeable. And, it just makes me feel better about myself. So if that is deceitful, I apologize.

I understand how you feel. Everyone wants to look their best in their clothes (or out). I have always have shopped to find what displays what I have to its best advantage
What I wonder if you are out by the pool in your speedo and catch the eye of another guy who likes what he sees. What happens if you get back to the room and the suit and bulge enhancing devices come off and you are not the package you were projecting. Doesn't that cause some tense moments? He expected a gallon and got a quart. Isn't that awkward? I remember in college when frat brothers got a girl to the room and discovered the huge boobs came off with the bra. Of course at that age tact isn't a skill guys have so either he hurt the girls feelings or just left looking for what he thought he had.
I, like most guys, didn't feel I was all that big and when I found a speedo type suit that made me look big I got two or three of them. I still think that guys look best in a slightly loose nylon suit. The tight flat front suits make everything looked mashed in and uncomfortable. When I see models wearing c-rings in ads it makes me immediately think, if a model needs help to look good, there is no hope I will.
I have no problems if guys want to put up a fake front whether it is for self esteem or to attract attention, that is up to them. For me, the humiliation of exposing reality is worse than the smaller bump.

I've never tried a loose style suit. And your right, a tight lycra does squish everything flat. Maybe I will give a loose suit a try to see how it feels.

I have an unlined nylon Aussiebum in navy blue. I initially didn't care for the loose fit up front but it has certainly grown on me (no pun). The suit doesn't look like much dry but once it's wet it fits nice and clingy. It's become my favorite suit for laps at the gym.

Hey tannedbum, what loose fitting suits to you recommend? I know about AB loose, but I am not sure what other brands might have a loose fit.

I personally love the Andrew Christian Almost Naked brief (the underwear). Yeah it claims it is enhancing, but that is not the thing for me. It just feels great and is really, really, the most comfortable underwear I have tried ever.

About swimwear:
I have the N2N Maverick speedo (however I never used the cock strap), just love the feel of the pouch.
However, if you try using the cockstrap of N2N - you will look just ridiculous.

I have a pair of Tulio as well:

Again they claim to have some lifting effect.

I never used and I don't intend to use any padding.

I just like how these pouches feel, they are extremely conformable and sexy. I never wore one of these with the idea to enhance myself. I don't think they really enhance something so much, that anyone could be fooled about the size of your junk. They just feel so snug, tight and sexy.

Actually, the idea is that when I was less confident in wearing speedos and in general less confident about myself - I would never go out to the beach in N2N or Tulio. It is only when I grew self confidence and self esteem, only then I started wearing them.

If you want to feel more confident by wearing these suits or by padding your junk - I don't think it will happen.
I think it works the other way around. You must be confident enough in yourself to wear an N2N maverick on the beach.

Interesting comments but how does that compare to (say) padded bras for women? Or choosing clothes to make you look slimmer, or hide those few extra pounds? When we dress up to look good, arent we all hiding just a bit behind our outfits?

I've got a few "fun" speedos with "enhancements", and i sometimes wear them for fun, but mostly I just wear normal (though low rise) speedos and hope my "package" is ok au naturel as it were. But if others want to "bulk up" i'm fine with that too. To my mind the people who "hide" what they have are more odd than those that try to show off a bit.

I'm confused here....what has a flacid package in visual terms got to do with action in a relationship.....none.

As for woman I think I can assume most of us know that woman wear bra's not just for support but for propotion too which has the positive effect of getting guys interested, no problem what so ever here and I love it.....

A small guy can turn out to be a big boy in bed while a hung guy can be a useless performer, the reality is its fact and I wouldnt worry about it.

I hate crushing my balls so I wear a cock ring, the effect is not over powering baring in mind some of us are hangers whilst some are naturaly up there tight.
