Sound advice here. I'd say the biggest things to get right should include eating AND sleeping, if you don't get enough sleep your bod can pack on weight.
Use body weight moves, get them right then you can do them anywhere; no costs.
The beach video is great [Love the comment from the girl who says "Can I get pregnant from watching this!"]. While it's pure sexy cheese it has some really good moves. It's great that it has a proper emphasis on press ups and it puts them right up front and uses a few different ones. Also good that it shows alternatives for if you can't manage the full move like the L-sits at 4:58, where the red speedo dudes are doing a less intense version of it. Same with the one armed press ups at 5:50. BTW I was thinking about these at work and I reckon learning one-armed PU's should come after you've learnt the one leg version as you'll be used to pushing your weight through three contact points by then and but you'll have got used to it in a safer way as your hips are a much less mobile, more supported joint than your shoulder??
Also video yourself so you can check you're keeping proper form and have some music playing it helps distract your mind from the pain when you are planking. One they didn't show was the wall sit, that kills but sorts you out. I'd reccommend the static ones [Planks and wall sits] at the end to use any energy you still have!
