G'day Guys,

Welcome to the Speedo Forum.

The only time I wear speedos on the beach or in a public place other than a swimming pool would be if a mate was wearing them too, or if I was tanning.
They look great on you in your avatar!!!

Defs second that,

But i really only wear my speedos when I'm actually lap swimming, or just swimming in a pool,
rather than when i go to the beach, although it is still kinda a culture of wearing speedos here in oz,
but i rarely see people in them, apart from SLS

I wear a speedo or square cut everywhere... Even wore one to the water park last weekend, although there was one group of guys there that were laughing... It helped that my friends were wearing a speedo to.

When on a cruise earlier this year I was wearing an Aussiebum square cut at the beach when we stopped in Mexico. Some guys from our ship asked me where I bought it. I thought they were making fun so I told them to f off...lol but it turns out they were really wanting to buy them. Their room was a few doors down from ours, and judginging by how many girls were in their room at all hours of the night, they weren't gay...

Having gay friends is fun because at least 50% of my friends wear some type of speedo when were at the lake, beach, pool, etc. You'd think more guys would want to show what they got as a macho thing... Not in north America.

I remember seeing one of my first pictures of a boy in a speedo... It was in a book about Europe at a friends house. It was a boy buing a soda or something from a cart on the beach. I couldn't believe how liberated he seemed. I've loved speedos ever since!
