Visiting Puerto Vallarta next month
Any suggestions as to where I should hang out, shop, etc? I'm staying in the north hotel zone with some friends, of whom, not all are particularly speedo friendly (though one will have no trouble being convinced). Any input would be great.

You'll love PV! The gay area is downtown, Los Muertos Beach, also called the "Romantic Zone" on some of the maps/guides. "Blue Chairs" is the name of the gay beach, though we found it all to be gay friendly. Lots of speedos all around....it was great!

Well, we just changed location and we'll be staying near the downtown. Any suggestions on places to buy speedos or squarecuts, should my friends want to?

go a block or so inland from Blue Chairs, you will find several swimwear stores, on the first street back.
