Japan holiday....ideas for Speedo locations

Hi Guys,

I am planning a holiday to Japan for later in the year and I wanted to get a few ideas on places to go.

I would love to hang out at pools, beaches, bath houses etc where hot Japanese guys are in their AQUX etc speedos.

Does anyone have any tips for me? Location, venue type etc etc.

Also, does anyone know and willing to recommend gay friendly hotels in various cities. Still pulling the plan together and will cover a few places. Thanks in advance.

I was in Japan in 2009 - we didn't get to any swimming pools but I did go to a Ryokan (kind of like a guest house accommodation) which had an Onsen (public bath). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Onsen

Basically it is a public bathroom (one sex only - at least the one we stayed at - Wife didn't want to go in the ladies one - I jumped at the chance!) If you go into one make sure you understand the rules and wash before getting into the hot tub... I must have read the sign 50 times (no English just pictures!!!) Then I just followed the other guys in the room...

Aside from the pools (which as I said I never made it too) the Onsen is sooooo worth it...

You are not likely to find many guys in speedos in onsens - it's naked bathing only.

Hotel - try Shinjuku City Lonestar in Tokyo
