Uni Swim Team

Post by jockstrapmatthews » Sun Nov 21, 2010 5:25 pm

Hi guys,

Im aged 19 and Im thinking about buying a speedo for use on my swim team, but most of the guys are wearing squarecut boxer style shorts. I am not sure if an arena or similar bikini would go down well. I am a size 32 waist and quite slim, but I wonder if I could pull it off, or wear it without getting a hard on all the time!

The big question is why are they wearing baggy shorts that slow them down in the pool? Speedos are hot. I mean that's why we're all here. But a Speedo is also built to be worn when one is swimming competitively, for workouts or for laps. It is you who ought to be looking funny at them if they are in shorts.

Swimmers don't take someone seriously if they are wearing shorts.

Unless they are wearing what is called a 'drag suit' that is usually made of nylon and is baggier and cut fuller than a standard Speedo. However even these suits would never be mistaken for board shorts and the like.

If you can get hard while you're swimming, I'd like to meet you. Every swimmer has tried to get that piece of magic going, and it just doesn't happen. If you're hard before you get in the pool, then just hop in the water fast. A pool at the right temperature will bring it right down in no time.

Real men wear Speedos and so do real swimmers.

Well, they dont win many! I am thinking of a Speedo Endurance 8cm brief, in black. Or maybe a Turbo?

Present the positive reasons why speeos would be a good idea. Hopefully, they can become mandatory swimwear for the swim team. I know when I was in high school, swim briefs were mandatory. I knew because many guys wouldn't join the swim team.

Strange that guys don’t want to join the swim team because it involves wearing a speedo.

Why is wearing a speedo seen as more of a risk than playing other types of athletics?

I guess they wouldn’t have any reservation about joining the basketball team even though it involves even more undressing and taking even more time in the showers (and being butt naked during it all) than being on a swim team!!!

Not sure what sort of basket ball involves so much time in the showers, but let me be the first to sign up for the team if that's the case !

Matt--

Are the square cuts lycra jammers or are they like boxer underware? A swim team with boxers. It's like something out of the Wimpy Kid books. You're 19. OMG... Is this a college team?

When I first started wearing speeds I got hard in them at first, but that went away.

What's wrong with being hard or even semi-hard in your swim brief? We're guys and erections are normal and a GOOD sign of our manhood. Erections come and go.
