London Pool Recommendations

Post by speedostud » Sat Sep 17, 2022 1:23 pm

Hi all, will be spending a month in London soon and looking for indoor pools to swim laps and check out the local talent. Any recommendations? Speedo friendly and cruisey steam rooms/changerooms preferred, lol.

When I was in London Last, I swam laps at the London Aquatic Center, where the 2012 Olympic games were held. You can pay for a day pass and swim laps. It's a great pool, and I saw a lot of guys in speedos swimming.

Did they have it set up in 50m configuration, or did you swim crossways (which I assume is 25m)?

And there's obviously the main competition pool, but I gather from watching these things on TV that there's often a warmup pool, too?
