First Time in Australia

Post by Polyamid986 » Sun Oct 14, 2018 7:24 am

Sup chaps? I'll be visiting Australia specifically East Coast with a friend of mine at the end of october/beginning of november. We're visiting a mutual friend who's living there. We'll be located I believe the name of the place is Wamberal, that's where he lives, we'll probably go to Tuggerah Lake, Forresters beach. Are there any more nice beaches/pools that are speedo friendly & are nearby?

Polyamid,

That is not far from me at all. Birdie Beach is a little drive north and is where I hang out a bit. Weather should be warming up nicely by then and school holidays haven't started which causes everything to get busy.

I haven't been to the part of the country you're heading to. However, all beaches in Oz are speedo-friendly. NOT all beaches are clothing-optional. As long as you don't confuse the two, you'll be right, mate! :P

Yeah every pool and beach is fine with Speedos. Though knee length baggy shorts dominate the younger generations.
Not too skimpy, but the standard is the 5cm side Speedo brand in black or navy, which are slightly less coverage than your profile picture (as a guess) so no issue there.

As population density is so low most beaches beyond the few bordering the city are so easy to keep space that even skimpy and see through won't be noticed. And those city beaches are more open minded anyway, some topless women, g-strings etc.

I hope I can live long enough (and, more to the point, save enough money) to take an extended trip to Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and SE Asia.
