Well, one of those days!

Post by Obe1 » Thu May 17, 2018 4:54 pm

Ok, guys have a laugh on me. I did a bone head stunt a few days ago. I got injured at work and I am doing PT. Well my PT place is both water and land. I wore my speedo brief and got there and yep land based they say. No problem it’s not like we don’t like the feel of a speedo right ? So I complete my pt and bummed I did not get in the water. Hey I remember my friend that has a pool, he said come use it anytime I want. So 15 min longer drive to get there. I texted him just a FYI hey I am at your house and about to take you up on using your pool. He says yeah help yourself and by the way it’s clothing optional too.

Hum, why not so I strip off and it’s 90 out light breeze and partly cloudy.
I jump in and his pool is 81 degrees... and refreshing. Do my PT stuff and climb out to dry. I lay out and read and article or two and say, him tan lines I like them, so I put my speedo back on and do some diving and working in my breathing technique. I climb out again and yep, suit is wet and I need to dry. I lay out and read a little and flip over and continue reading.

Before I get home, I am starting to hurting at my speedo leg opening... strange. Then at the waist I started to hurt. I got home now I am hurting!! Pulled off my shirt and speedo “yeah I wore it home” yikes, I am a lobster... on the front.

So a bad sunburn ... Between Aloe Vera and a fan blowing on me, in my thong and my wife laughing at me I manage to wear cloths today.

Today is my pool therapy, I wear my speedo “yea” because it the only thing that doesn’t hurt! I wear loose cloths to PT. My therapist said you got some sun, looking at my legs... I said wait! I pull off my shirt and kick my shoes and take off my shorts to my speedo framing a red lobster and get in the water.

She asked did you fall asleep? Yeah but my biddies pool it is clothing optional too!!

She smiled really big and said, hope everything is ok! I said the only piece of clothing I can wear is my speedo! Hope you don’t mind. She smiled really big, and said no I don’t mind!

Yes, you are 100% correct! HORRIBLE

I would have worn a thong, if they would not have thrown me out. How many days will it take, just kill me get it over with.

The thing is I know better... I am fair skinned and red haired.

My arms darkened up some and maybe just maybe I want peal.

I never burn my entire from before, shoulder, ears, top of my head, nose.. but not the entire front.

If anyone knows a good remedy I am all ears...

when i got burnt just make sure cool water shower (not hot)

apply moisturiser and those after sun care as often as u can.. keep skin moisturised will help with the peeling later on.

the redness and stinging will probably take 2-3 days to go away.. but the redness and peeling might last a week?

Im asian skinned, so i can burn easily too! but i have learnt to always turn and get in and out of water to cool down.
if you feel the hotness on ur skin, its already too late :P

Thanks,

I applying Mary Kay after sun gel multi able times a day. Yes cold water shower!! Warring a thong to keep
Cloths off the burn. Right at the crease of my legs is burned too. They are getting less sore, and other areas are getting more sore. Sleeping is a joke. 1st two night nothing could lay on me.. from the top of my feet to under my chin. I did have a hat and glasses in reading and my face did not get it that bad. My private area did not suffer to bad either. But the inside top of my legs. Holly Molly that is tender. This is day 3, about 42 hrs from getting out of the sun. My arms and some of the top
Of my legs are darkening. But mostly still pinkish red.

Today in the pool water indoor was fine. Just the shower cool water hurt afterwards.

Yeah a bone head thing. I wasn’t out that long from arriving to leaving too Then subtracting the water time ...
but the 1st real sun I have had in a long time all over like this.

Thanks for the advise...

I am keeping cool, moisturized and out of the sun for now.

Tex
