Which speedo fits better?

Post by justinjustin » Wed Apr 12, 2017 5:33 am

First of all, i would like to thank everyone for your help and advice! I'm new to this and i'm still not sure if i'm ready to wear a speedo in public. I bought two models: n2n catalina sport and aussibum 2.5. I like both of them for different reasons. The n2n has more stretch to it so it does feel a bit more comfortable than the nylon fabric of the aussiebum. But i do like how aussiebum compacts all my "package" (maybe i should've taken a bigger size... i bought the small). I'm still not convinced which one fits better. I'm posting this here because it's anonymous and i want real honest advice. Feel free to criticize (without being mean!). If i decide to wear it once and for all, i really wanna be sure it looks good on me...

Thanks again!

I think you look fabulous in both suits. If you don't want to be conspicuous about showing off your package, then go with the Aussiebum... I'd hit the beach or pool with you wearing either suit!

I agree. The aussieBums are better for a family-friendly public setting, the N2N's look amazing!

Both look great but having said that, I prefer the Catalina. I also have that suit but in a patterned print so the contours are less conspicuous when wet. My recommendation is N2N if you're doing more lounging and just dipping in the pool. AB if you're planning to walk about, swim or be generally more active.

I guess I have to agree with all of the above.

I'd wear that Aussiebum anywhere with confidence. Not so sure I'd want to accentuate my man parts quite as much as the N2N does.

The suit I'm wearing in my photo has a countoured pouch that fits and looks great, but it enhances my package which makes me look more conspicuous. My new favorite is the Sporti Euro Swim Brief. They have narrow sides, about 1.5" and are cut really low like I I like them to be. (I like to show off the lower ab veins) but they still have good seat coverage. The side width and rise height are similar to the one in my photo. They are tight and compress my package such that it doesn't look as big and conspicuous but since they are so low cut and tight I end up having to lift my balls upwards and forward to have room and my penis ends up having to go toward the side because there's not much room to put it downward and upward it would be pointing out, but I think the look is very good.

As far as the suits you are wearing I'd say the less conspicuous one is the better bet for most public situations unless you really want to be noticed.

If I had to choose between the two, the second would be it. I am not a fan of the fabric of the first suit. Personally, I like lined suits that you can barely make out which way I am pointing and I like things to be and stay snug. I always stay away from suits with the pouch look and for this reason, I have a pretty limited list of brands that I would even consider buying.

I'd be more likely to wear the Aussiebums, but the allure of wearing a suit like the N2N is exciting. I say wear the AB's but bring the other one along if you feel daring.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

justin,

I like the AB better because it's cut lower on the sides. That said the N2N looks great on you. You have a handsome bulge.

BJE: The Sporti Euro is a great suit. I just recently bought one again. I like it for all the reasons you mention. The price is right too. I had one five or six years ago, but gave it to someone who wanted one. Had forgot how cool they are.

Hey thanks!! I think I paid 11 for mine on sale a few months ago. Want to get a dark green and maroon to go with the blue. Have you tried a Turbo? That's also on my list.

I bought a medium blue Sporti Euro and liked it so well that I bought all the rest of the colors. I ordered all of them in size 32 but one of them is extra small and one is extra large compared to the rest of them. I don't know if it is a manufacturing irregularity or if they are labeled wrong I may send the larger one back because I don't want it to be baggy but I like the smaller one a lot. Its sides are only about an inch wide and it looks great. It's the skimpiest thing I've ever worn in public.

I've tried on a Turbo water polo suit but I didn't like the thickness and lack of stretch. However I have a Turbo swim brief on order from the U.K. that I hope fits well. It was shipped about fifteen days ago and hasn't yet arrived.

I also have the medium blue in 32. The web site said they ran small. In a speedo brand, I buy a 30. My waist measures 31. I like a fit that's low and snug.

I think they can sometimes put on the wrong labels. I bought an N2N square cut in small that fit like an extra large. It was huge.

I want to order a maroon Sporti. That was the color I gave away.

Please post how you like the U.K. Turbo when it arrives.

At swimoutlet where I ordered my Sporti Euro swim suits they have red but not maroon.

I like my swim briefs and jammers tight. I don't like baggy. I have found with the Sporti Euros that when dry they feel like they aren't going to cover my back side but once wet they seem to get bigger and fit fine. For this reason I think I'll send the big one back. I like very low cut swim briefs. I hate high waisted swim briefs, they look like granny panties. I like the front of the waist to be about five inches below my belly button or about two inches above the base of my penis. I also want full coverage in the seat, no cheek showing and barely coming to the top of my crack.
