G'day guys,
I have never really been cool, in school I was a bit of a computer nerd, I’m sure I’m not very trendy when I dress.
There are a few things I have missed, or am currently missing in the fashion world. That whole XXXX thing for starters – I don’t quite understand guys spending hours trying to LOOK/appear like they didn’t spend anytime getting dressed. I’ve never really got the tattoo thing which I think you guys have heard me talk about and these days I don’t get the whole facial hair/beard thing.
I don’t have to shave every day for my work and shaving ever day would be a pain but after not shaving for a week it gets kind of messy and itchy if you ask me (same with pubic hair too). When I don’t shave and I’m swimming laps I actually cause a little rash on my shoulders from breathing which is pretty funny.
Would love to hear what you guys think.
Dave

I haven't been without my beard since around 1976. Currently I keep it relatively short (3/8" comb on the clippers). Shaving is a nuisance and I refuse to do it.

I remember a couple decades back that tattoos were shocking when seen on "regular" people, but they're so common now that I don't even notice them so much anymore. I still don't like them, but I no longer would out of hand not hire a potential employee who had visible tats on the shoulders or lower. But I still would hesitate if the tats were showing on the neck or higher. Beards though... I just think it's a fad. Like goatees were so trendy common on guys a few years back, but most men that sported one have long ago shaved it off. The full bearded look, I'm thinking most women are getting sick of seeing it, and once that happens, it's hopefully not long for this world. I know I'm sick of seeing them.

I have also had a beard since the late 70's or early 80's. My wife has never seen me without one.

A bit of chest or arm hair is sexy for me. Not sure about beard. A bit of nuisance when kissing

Beard or no beard is fine. I normally go 6 months on, 6 months off myself.
If I had to choose, it'd probably be a man with a bit of scruff.

I've had my grey, old-man beard for about a year and the women like it, so I keep it, which started from a sailing trip that my face was so wind burn, it would have been miserable to shave....and I'm a man about pleasure, not pain....
As PNW commented, the beard needs to be short and trimmed, the long beard in the pic that Dave posted is less then attractive, but if the guy likes it, then enjoy.
Let's keep it brief.

I am a nerd (don't know about the hot part) in speedos. But how can you tell if a guy wearing speedos is a nerd?

I am definitely a nerd too. Maybe we should wear plaid speedo's and bring books to the beach? And yes, nerdy glasses are obligatory

Wriggler, Bullseye and Portseason together. Now that's one hell of a hot fantasy. Mind if I join in?
I promise to wear a pair of glasses the whole time (but my speedos might 'fall' off at some stage).

Now there's a sight to see (certainly won't need my glasses for that)

Who would have known there are so many nerds into speedos? Port, since you started this, you can be the president of the sexy speedo nerd club. We could make tshirts and have a convention.

As far as me with a beard, i tried it for like 2 months ut just couldnt do it anymore, and a lot of people preferred me without. But i think some guys it's pretty good looking on.
