Singlets - Yes, Speedos - No

Post by Scottiebum » Fri Nov 13, 2015 11:13 am

Looking at websites that have pictures of speedos I have found they often have other lycra pictures.

The photos of wrestlers show young guys in their late teens/early twenties in lycra singlets, some with underwear, some with jocks, but most with nothing under a single layer of lycra.

They roll about the floor in close contact and then stand up, aroused, clearly pointing in all directions, leaving nothing to the imagination!

American football kit and cycling skin suits are similar.

I find it confusing that this is acceptable to the guys wrestling and the spectators, but there is still an abhorrence of guys wearing speedos that are normally double lined and tight enough to hold `things` in place.

I'd say many things are overlooked in the name of team sports.

The only place no one bats an eye, is if a guy is wearing cycling shorts. They seem to be accepted without any question.

you also have to look at the fact that in diving, water polo, and sometimes swimming speedos are worn. They just appear "odd" to people who are not used to them in those settings.
Just a straight guy who likes speedos and aussiebums

The other thing I find strange is guys wearing running tights like Under Armor and then wearing a pair of shorts over-top. Why can we not wear them on their own, it defeats the purpose of the tights. On the other hand, Women wear yoga pants and leggings without putting shorts over them.

It is for some reason very weird. I don't mind walking around in my bike shorts, or in a speedo at the gym/pool. But wearing running tights, which covers more of my body, around town seems odd.

I don`t tend to wear running tights. When I have my cycle tights on I have no worries about walking about around in them if I stop on my cycle to go into a shop or cafe.
