Planet Hollywood Las Vegas
My wife and I are going to Vegas mid October and I plan on wearing my Aussiebum 1.5" Classics. Will the weather still be warm enough to lay out by the pool? I'm assuming the pools are fairly speedo friendly considering the amount of guests from around the world staying there.

It's still pretty warm in Vegas in October so you should be fine. The pools in Vegas are frequented by the more macho, club guys so you'll see mainly board shorts over anything else. Maybe a speedo or two but that's the exception. The pools tend to be the pre-party venue to clubbing at night. However, life is short so do what you want and wear what you want! You'll be fine!!

Been to Vegas quite a few times in late September/Early October. Definitely warm enough for the pool. Chicagoswim is right. Speedos are definitely the exception. Saw maybe one or two on each trip, if that. Pools can be a bit crowded, not much space to stretch out and relax and all the guys are in board shorts.
