Being Attacked on Facebook

I wanted to share an attack I received on Facebook for my profile picture. The name of this "gentleman" is ANDREW MAW.

ANDREW MAW: Lol your picture is what worries me

ME: Wow, Andrew Maw, talk about being narrow minded. You've never heard of a swim brief? Whether you are against certain swim wear or don't like it, keep it to yourself when that point of view has has nothing to do with the issue I raised.

ANDREW MAW: Lol not narrow minded. Hate idiots like yourself that think people want to see pictures like that on facebook. And then try to have a conversation with something like this? Keep it to myself? It's called freedom of speech just like you did when you criticized this page. What was the difference if what I did to you? As you did to grasshopper. Maybe you should take your own genius thoughts to yourself and keep your thoughts to yourself. Lol maybe you will get some more fans of your shirtless pic somewhere else.

ME: Andrew Maw, my profile picture is fine. I'm not an idiot like you claim that I am. I did not criticize this company. Freedom of speech just like any other freedom is to be used responsibly and it is not a licence to attack others.

I decided to include the profile picture I used and a picture Mr. Andrew Maw of Oshawa, Ontario. I blocked out the face of his young son for obvious reasons. There were no pictures of just him. Here is the Facebook link as well:

Someone else has joined this guy in the attack, Tanya Field. They're both from Canada.

Dude, you need to lock down your profile so that only friends can communicate with you and post to your board. On a computer & on your front page, you will see a picture of a lock on the upper right hand corner . It is next to a picture of the world. Left mouse click and you will have a drop down menu. Look under the different headings and you can block who can contact you and who can post to your board. Once you lock down your profile, you can delete any posts to your board that you don't like. In general, you should only allow current friends to see your board let alone post to your board without your approval.... when in doubt, lock it down....

Here's the funny thing, this idiot attacked me, not on my board, but on the board of Grasshopper Solar. I asked a question, and then this guy decides to take it upon himself to attack me for wearing swim briefs.

Trolling is as old as the internet & you won't be able to change it. If I were you, I would try to disassociate myself from their troll post. Since it is on someone else's board, deleting your question is the only way to do it. Your friends won't be able to see them through you and the troll posts will look as if they are hanging. Blocking them would prevent them from finding you in the future. The sooner you delete it, the less likely it will get cached by a web crawler.
