P90X3

Post by GRSwimmer » Sat Jan 11, 2014 2:18 pm

I've started P90X3 to get ready for this summer. I've been pumped about the coming Summer after my recent trip to Miami and have decided to get into shape.

So far I like X3 more than X1. The workouts are only 30 minutes!

I've done P90X, and really liked it, but the workouts were too long to fit in sometimes (Yoda X is 120 minutes...yikes!), hence, making it more difficult to stick with IMO.

Anyone else have any fitness goals, or want to join me?

I have some week one pics that I'll put up soon!

That's awesome GRSwimmer! I'll be curious to hear about your progress. I did Jillian Michaels' version of the PX90 system, her Body Revolution. (no snickering!) It's a 3 month (really 12 week) program. I completed it mid December and I have to say I'm in the best shape of my life. Sort of like what you were saying, I like her program because the workouts are all around 30 - 35 minutes. And that's really all I want to do a day. Let me know how it goes! And I'm excited to see your transformation pictures! Keep with it! It will be SO worth it!

Looking pretty great already! You're gonna be JACKED!
And I watched a bit of one of the videos and I think I'm going to start it too! But I won't be starting it for at least a fortnight as I'm off next weekend to visit family and not sure I want to make them sit through my crazy workout schedule. Ha!
Good luck!!!

Hey there, I just got p90x3 as well. I haven't started cause I'm finishing up Focus T25. I too, like the 30 minute workouts. I work 14 hour days so Its hard to find the time to really workout with time constraints. If you use skype add me, speedolover207, to keep tabs on your progress! Good Luck, you already look like you are starting out adhead, good body!!!

I swim 9 laps in a 50 meter pool at least 3 times a week, takes me a half hour and play ice hockey 3 times a week as wells. good luck with your workouts, chuck

Fell behind on updates, but here they are. Also caught the flu this week, so I missed a day, but at least it's the recovery week. Not noticing much change, but I do feel better. Still really digging the 30 minute routines!

You look great already! So if anything you'll just look even better. I decided not to do Tony Horton 'cause he annoyed the crap out of me. I've started Sean T's Focus T25. And I had completed Jillian Michaels' Body Revolution in December. I'm a huge fan of the 3 month 30 minute a day routines. They definitely work!
Keep up the good work and I look forward to more pictures as you go!
Woof!
