I was quite surprised to hear that this show had been recommissioned for second series, although I really enjoyed the first series I understand it got completely ripped apart by critics - however, the viewership was sky high so that was probably why they're making a second series.

As a fan of diving and aquatics in general (and i like a bit of crap telly to be fair) I'm really looking forward to this and have it on series link on my Sky planner!

I remember last year wondering which celebrity would don the briefs and remember being pleasantly surprised by a few guys such as Jake Canuso who looked fantastic in his trunks. I remember some of the girls looking incredibly hot in their swimsuits too, so there's eye candy for everyone!

So as I'm sofa-bound with a severe case of man-flu (your sympathy is welcome) I'm already snuggled up with the duvet looking forward to tonights show! Bring on the speedos!

...and celebrities attempting to do flips on national telly!

...and of course Tom Daley!! Haha

Okay, so after last nights show I think I can put my foot on why the critics slated it so much last season

...Vernon Kay and Gabby Logan's "gags" are cringe worthy, they were awful. And Jo Brand as one of the judges was a bit silly, I can see the point in getting someone who was more of a common household name than Leon and Andy but Jo? Everytime it was her moment to say something she'd mention a joke about how un-sporty she is and it really isn't funny anymore.

But apart from that - I noticed that Groves guy wore a pair of speedos while he was training but opted for the swim shorts when it came to his actual jump, bit disapointing but I guess we have a whole series to go yet.

Tom looked hot as ever in his 3-stripe speedos, there's really no need to mention it - it's like saying "the grass was green today" or "the sky was blue" haha

An American version of this show aired on TV last year, with US diver David Boudia in the Tom Daily role. There really wasn't very much speedo action on our version either. Besides the comedy factor of seeing guys like Louie Anderson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar doing platform dives, the biggest reason I tuned in was for some of the hot looking girls that were in the cast. Some of the dudes definitely were in speedo-ready shape and it would have been great to see them competing in speedos, but this is America after all, so most daring thing we saw were jammers. But my other thought too was, if you are an novice inexperienced celebrity platform diver just struggling not to land on your face from 7.5 meters up, how pretentious would you look actually wearing a speedo! If I were to try it, I'd certainly rather land on my ass while wearing boardshorts and at least look the role of amateur than land on my ass while wearing a speedo in an attempt to look like I'm a Tom Daily or something!

I think it will be extremely uncomfortable to jump from 10 meters with boardshorts.
Jammers would be fine, but shorts, flapping on the wind during the jump ... Definitely brings a funny picture in my mind.
