Hahaha Justin - now you have me soooo curious about this Slammer place. I'm going to have to ask this friend of mine who recently got back from doing a few photo shoots down there - I think he also worked a few parties at The Manor. However, if I know him well enough, he'll have plenty of stories

I haven't been to The Manor either but Slammer probly makes it look like The Breakers.

To the Welsh guys, i recently had a fun afternoon at Touch in Swindon. Very friendly, with dark rooms, sauna, small whirpool spa, swing and the usual bits n bobs. Very close to the railway station. Very clean and discreet. Recommended.

Ack!!! I wouldnt be caught dead just driving into the parking lot.

I visited a friend from high school who was staying at a motel on one of the "Mar" streets (Vista or Terra....not sure now). Anyway, we used the private pool....in our speeds of course. Akshully we were the ONLY people in speedos. :-[ It was a nice place with everything new and lots of landscaping.

Those places sound just plain nasty.

Cruisers are such creeps, and usually do so because their social awkwardness prevents them going through more overt and conventional channels to get some.

I hope that you have/had fun when you visit.

When I was younger I went to a few different saunas in London. The best ones are the smaller ones where you stand a chance of meeting some of the same people if you visit again. There is almost a feeling of community and a chance to chat to people you know as well as checking out the new talent.

You are probably right about older guys but there will be probably be guys of your age as well. It sounds like a good idea to go along in your Speedos as they are what make you feel comfortable. You need to feel quite confident to go into a strange place and walk round naked in front of a lot of strangers so the Speedos might be a good "comfort blanket" to get you started. I am sure they will be a turn on for a lot of the guys there anyway.

On a practical level make sure that you wear something on your feet to avoid possibly picking up a verucca or similar nasty.

I suppose the last piece of advice would be to think about your safe sex limits in advance. They can be very sexually charged places and this can make it easier to go along with things that normally you wouldn't consider doing. You need to be clear where you draw the line and be prepared to stick to your limits. If you feel pressured into anything that makes you feel uncomfortable then don't be afraid to say no.

I hope that you have fun. If you find a good Sauna then they can be very pleasant places to go and spend a relaxing/exciting afternoon or evening. Let us know how you get on.

In my experience, the clientele wasn't really much to my taste, but I've had fun bringing guys with me and having an audience. I don't go all that often or anything but I do usually bring speedos--and they get their share of compliments, so I don't think there's a problem there.

I haven't actually been yet, I've been busy moving houses and it's taking up all my time and money at the moment.

Had to look up verucca..... In the US their called plantar warts. Kind of a pain to get rid of (and to walk on....).

Yeah,definitely take a friend,especially if the sauna is far from home,or you might feel pressurized into going `too far`.I`ve been to a couple in NW England,and there`s lots to do..!!! and see;but in ny case, don`t forget some rubbers (if only flavoured ones!!) I would go again,but only when I get my figure back.....a lot of the guys who go to these places seem to be chiselled (and well hung) but I guess I`m just jealous...
