Hey, long time lurker here - finally registered. Straight guy from the USA, have enjoyed wearing speedos since being in a water polo club for a semester - just hard to get past the stereotypes and people not used to them - esp when on vacation with family they feel embarassed/gave me crap at the beach when I wore a speedo. I usually wear a speedo, drag suit or trunk to the gym to swim laps. Will post some more pics when I get a chance. Here is one of a white speedo I have - I have worn this I think once though - I guess intimidated by what people may think, even though that shouldn't matter, esp since its dual layered and shouldn't be see through. Culture I guess. I never swam in high school on the swim team but now wish I had tried out for the team since that would have been a much easier way to get to wear them a lot more. Problem now is finding a swim team or water polo club for people in or just out of college.

Welcome to the board. From what we can see -- you look good in your speedos. I will pass on one comment that I got from my son when I wore white speedos (also lined so not see thru) He said unless you are very tan when you wear white they look like underwear. Now I do the colored ones till tan is well along and then wear the white. It was my compromise. He didn't want me wearing speedos at all, but it is semi ok now since it doesn't look like I'm wearing my tighty whiteys.
