Enjoy the Forum. I was born in and spent most of my life in MA; lived in several towns on the South Shore. I now live in FL. Miss MA, but there's more beach weather here.

I'm originally from So Cal and do miss the beaches... a bit less cold in the winter LOL. Florida has got to be nice!

I think it was a good choice for me. I really do like So Cal though. I have a friend from MA who lives in Laguna Beach, so I've visited a few times. The water is chilly compared to FL, even in July. But it's better than MA. I lived on the South Shore, and the warmest the water got in the summer at Duxbury Beach was in the sixties. A few waves, but not a lot.
