I am new on this board, but as many others, I have been looking for a while before finally registering.
What a pity that Denmark, where I live, isn't really a Speedo country. Some - mostly older men - do wear it for leisure purposes, but then it's more the boxcut styles. It's probably a bit of a Scandinavian thing to cover up. The same goes for underwear. Only boxers here that even cover your navel.
I like squarecut swimwear, if is has a low rise. Bods has a nice model.I am always looking out for that perfect pair and I own loads of swimwear. When I go on holidays to the South of Europe, I bring at least 10-15 styles with me, so it can be difficult to decide what to wear for the day. Sometimes I even change during the day. :D France and Spain are nice. It is quite common to see people of all ages in Speedos. I really think that is great.
I am not too much into leisure swimming, but I like the local wellness center, where you have to keep on your swimwear. That is always like that in Denmark. It was quite new to me when I moved to this country, but it gives me the opportunity to wear some nice Speedos, that do not blow up like a balloon in the jacuzzi.
I know this forum is called swimmersexuality/speedosexuality, but for me, wearing a Speedo is not really a sexual experience. When I look at men in Speedos, the question that comes up is: What is the brand, where can I buy it and how will it look on me? Never: what's underneath? To me, showing off big bulges or worse is something I don't like at all myself, but everyone is of course free to do as they please.
I think it is a bit sad sometimes, that for example companies like Andrew Christian, who had the most fantastic swimwear not too long hence, are aiming at people looking for giant pouches and enhancement wear. Most people will never use in public, I guess. I think a skimpy suit can look decent on the right body, but deliberately accentuating yet protruding bodyparts isn't it for me. Maybe I am just oldfashioned or so.
Speedos are great, but the bad thing is that you never know what size is right for you! I have seen many people here, exchanging their purchases to a smaller og bigger size, if they are so lucky that can be done. And sometimes you'd like to see the suit on a person to get an impression. Not a drawing of it only. Haha!
