Hello Friends,
Such a pleasure to be here and read/share experiences in Speedos on this great forum!
I'm from Australia which is currently going through a cold winter at the moment. Hope that all our northern hemisphere friends are enjoying summer.

I'm a straight male who's had a lifelong love of the Speedo. Currently have collected many pairs and enjoy wearing them throughout the year! I started at 4y.o and still proudly wear them in my 30s at the beach.

They are frowned upon a little here but the greatest feeling I had was a summer not long ago where I walked along the beach in my Royal Blue 1" sided ones, a group of men were out running past and when they saw me in mine, they quickly stopped, dropped their running shorts to expose their Speedos and then continued on their run, proud to be in theirs. Strength in numbers!

Welcome, looking good in those speedos.
It has been a pretty poor summer here, probably more like an Aussie winter! Did manage to get away to the sun for a week and wear my speedos at the pool and lido which feels so good!

Welcome! I always am sad when I read that speedos are not in favor in Australia - the birthplace of the Speedo, no less! But I loved your story from the beach, and am hopeful that speedos will make a popular comeback down under. And cheers to you for loving them and wearing them, and inspiring others to wear them!

Welcome. I love the Aussie love of speedos. Even guys who don't wear them have a positive attitude or don't care about guys who do it seems.

Hi Dave,
At that time it was Brighton beach in Adelaide when I was there visiting for work. A very nice beach and found that during early mornings there, you'd find a few men comfortably sporting their Speedos. They are quite happy to greet you and occasionally the women would also say 'good morning!' Caught a few women staring at my Speedos there which is a great feeling! One in particular stopped for a conversation whilst walking her dog along the beach. She wore a tight fitting women's one piece Speedo and wasn't shy to strut her stuff in it or glance at my package!
