Hello I live in the UK and I am 19 years old. I love to wear speedos but I get sightly nervous wearing them in public.

Hi
I used to feel the same but that was part of the excitement tbh.
Best way I found was at a beach, pick a quiet day and go down to a tee shirt and your speedos/trunks the lose the tee shirt after a while
More you wear them the easier it will get :)

The excitement definitely adds a lot to wearing them out in public, though I've only worn them swimming laps.

I've gotten to quite enjoy (I use the term loosely) wearing just a speedo on the beach on a cold day...ups the nerves a bit...;)

Hiya mate, welcome to the boards.

Getting over the nervousness of that first speedo swim is sometimes the toughest part, just go for it, you have nothing to be afraid of and as a guy who spends 8 hours a day in a pool I can almost guarantee that no-one gives a damn what you wear, just go for it :)

Don't know whereabouts in the UK you are, and what sort of pool you swim in, but I can't think of any pools I know where there would be any reason to feel nervous. Once a fortnight isn't that often to swim - maybe make it more frequent?

Welcome to the site, I too still get nervous when I go to wear mine. At the gym I don't worry as much but if I go out to a public beach I usually don't wear it cause I'm so nervous.

Hey there speedo123, I live Bristol way too, good to hear there's another speedo wearer local.
I wear mine to my gym pool now and no one even looks, funnily enough there seems to be more guys wearing them also!

Welcome, speedo123, just remember how comfortable they are to wear, and you will feel comfortable too.
