I just stumbled across your site, but it looks fun! I tend to prefer aussieBum to Speedo, but the gist is the same... less is sexier!

It looks like you have people from all over the world here. We live near Indianapolis, but my girfriend and I usually spend our "Maximum martini, minimum bikini" times on Lake Michigan out of New Buffalo harbor. I wear aussieBum because I like the tan line. She wears Wicked Weasel because they're just plain HOTT!

Michigan permits male bikinis and thongs. Topfree isn't legal on shore, but as soon as we leave the mouth of the harbor, her top tends to be gone.

Admittedly, there aren't a lot of Speedos or aussieBums around Indiana or even on Lake Michigan, but I'm trying to do my part to promote more open attitudes toward it, as well as female topfreedom. Katie and a friend celebrated National Go Topless Day this past August aboard our boat. We cruised the entire southeast shoreline of Lake Michigan with two sexy topless women at the bow and me at the helm in an aussieBum. I'm originally from just outside Indy in Boone Co.. I know what you mean about the speedo-friendly attitude of the state (not). I venture back to visit family on occasion and one time went to a YMCA up in Frankfort and did my regular swim workout, and I didn't wear board shorts. Mind you, what I wore was a regulation, Euro-cut (2" sides) Speedo Endurance suit. You'd have thought I landed from Mars from some of the looks I got. It's not like I'm out of shape or that I'm packing and bulging out of my suit like I'm a horse-hung porno star, but it was definitely an experience of feeling like a fish out of water there. Whereas most times I go to the pools here in Austin, it's no big deal.

If you ever make your way to Texas, be sure to check out Hippie Hollow, it's your sort of place from the looks of your pictures out on Lake Michigan.

I'm in Chicago and have been trying to break the speedo barrier on North Av. Beach for years. I always sport a speedo solar to the beach. Hollywood beach is extremely speedo freindly, being where the gay guys hang out alot these days. I have also worn a thong on a few occasions there.
