I am a guy from the Alps in Central Europe traveling for work around the world and wondering why many Anglosaxons have a problem wearing "speedos".
For me it is a very natural thing and I am happy to join this board.

I don't understand it either. 'Speedos' are next best to being entirely ... natural/

I don't understand the use of Anglo Saxons in this context. According to what I have read, that is the name used for the German tribes that invaded Britain. They were both men and women. It still has reference with the German/British connection though some have used it to mean an English speaking person in a land not traditionally an English speaking country.
Is the reference about the Germans and British? or reference to English speaking people world wide? or incorrectly thought to mean males in general?
I don't get what is trying to be said.

Sorry for having created confusion. Your historic remark is correct indeed. In France for example they refer to Anglo-Saxons as English speaking people populating the UK, Ireland, US and parts of Canada. There is nothing negative about this, except that we think that people there are a little bit more "strict" or "prudish" as proven by the wearing of bardshorts for swimming
