Wikipedia definition:
The Budgerigar (pronounced /ˈbʌdʒərɨɡɑr/), Common Pet Parakeet, or Shell Parakeet (Melopsittacus undulatus), informally nicknamed the budgie, is a small, long-tailed, seed-eating parrot, and the only species in the Australian genus Melopsittacus.
However, i think sam means the cute thing in you are hiding in your speedos

...and despite all that, the Aussie swimwear brand incorrectly spelled it as 'budgy'. Apparently they only realised the mistake after they registered the trademark. But their product is so hot I couldn't help adopting it as my username.Zwimmer wrote:Wikipedia definition:

Maybe it was easier for them to get the trademark registered with the different spelling....like using "duz" for "does" or something.
