London trip
Headed to London for work and staying longer to enjoy the city by myself. A few questions for those in the know:
1. Is the London Aquatic Center (the Olympics pool) open to the public and worth hitting up?
2. Are there cool pools to hit up in London city Center?
3. I have a running list of some things to tick off the boxes - I’m open to any “must do’s” - noting that I don’t like being a tourist into want to see/experience some cool things.
Thanks!

Re: London trip
1) Yes definitely worth the trip. However check before making a special trip out there to Stratford as it is often closed for events.
2) Oasis Centre in Covent Garden, has an indoor pool, and outdoor heated pool that is open all year round and a sauna cabin. High quotient of Speed-wearing men too. For something different you might enjoy the London Fields Lido in Hackney, outdoor pool only but heated and very popular with serious swimmers.
Enjoy your time in London!

Comptoir Libanais in Kensington is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Great Lebanese food and only a block or so from the Victoria and Albert Museum

I love that place too. I think it was a one off when we first went but it's become a [Still very good chain] since then.ReservedEnthusiast wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2020 12:09 amComptoir Libanais in Kensington is one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Isn't there also Tooting Bec Lido which is the largest purpose built open air pool in the country?

I’ve honestly never tried Lebanese food so this could be a nice experience.
