We live in the south, which is very culturally conservative (I would never in a million years tell anyone at work that I don't attend church and am a Democrat, for example)...

It really depends on your preference .. as others have noted the WJ can be cramping if you are big, but I find the loose+WJ to fit me well (that's a green 1.5" loose WJ in my profile pic).

I like both. I've tried a few clothing optional resorts and found the experience to be liberating. I find the classic swimmer's physique, whether clothed or naked to be an enjoyable sight to behold.
