Re: Sporti brand: European cut? Quality? More revealing?

Yes, the sporti euro cut is designed to be more revealing, and I think guys opt for it for that reason. Sporti regular or euro is a good cheap suit if you go through alot and replace them often. one sporti lasted 4 months in daily 2-hours session in clorinated water, but though the colour faded qui...

Sporti brand: European cut? Quality? More revealing?

A nice thing about swimoutlet is that they have a video of a model in most of the suits they sell. You can see how the suit looks from front, rear and side. I had heard Sporti was a reasonably priced brand of good quality with a European cut. Anyway, I checked it out. The suits look good and there a...

Thanks for the heads-up. I checked them out and like the gray color option. The seam down the front is sort of weird - never seen that before on a brief. Don't know what the purpose is for that.

Re: Speedos and jean's fit preference?

Levis 508 Jeans are good enough for me and American Eagle Jeans. I have a small waist and only 5"6 tall so I have a hard time finding Jeans that fit and arent too long. I want to get some Wranglers next time I go to shop for pants though. Also I feel ya about how no one wears briefs at the pool, I ...

Re: Speedos and jean's fit preference?

More observations on this topic. I've been doing lap swimming early mornings 3 times a week at a new pool. I am still a bit self-conscious being one of the few young guys wearing a speedo. But there are not too many people at the pool in the mornings and the older (over 40) guys almost all wear spee...

Re: How are water polo speedos different from regular speedo

Waterpolo suits are generally made from different materials, I believe polyester? I cant remember at the moment. Also they are usually tighter to stay on while your playing, wouldnt want to be in your birthday suit on accident during a game now would you? :P I know that supposedly when playing wate...

How are water polo speedos different from regular speedos?

I notice that water polo speedos seem quite popular and there are a lot of styles out there made by all the big swimwear firms. The only difference I see is that they offer more rear coverage and are fairly loose fitting. There can't be that many water polo teams so the quantity of product available...

Re: Which enhances one's bulge better: nylon, poly or lycra?

I'm somewhat shy and so wanted my first speedo to not be too revealing. Ironically, the tighter fitting competition suits like the Speedo Aquablade really hold things in and reduce the appearance of the bulge. It's somewhat counter-intuitive. The nylon suits seem to be the most revealing - the loose...

Nike or TYR suit similar to Aquablade?

I bought my first two speedos last year. Both were aquablades. I wanted a tight fit and not the looser nylon fit. Being a bit shy I prefer the racing fit as it really holds things in. The bulge is less noticeable. I want to try a TYR or Nike suit. I like the Nike brand and TYR offers more colors. I'...

Re: Speedos and jean's fit preference?

Yup, I identify with this! My preference is for slim fit jeans, I don't have any time for arse-down-by-the-knee "Prison Bitch" jeans and skinny jeans are for guys with no leg muscles. Although having said that snug jeans tend to look pretty much skin tight on my thighs because I've got quite well d...

Speedos and jean's fit preference?

I'm a young guy who wears speedos for lap swimming and such. I've noticed, since I recently started wearing speedos, two things. Hardly any guys in their 20s in the pool wear speedos. Maybe 10% on a good day. Of the few young guys who wear speedos, I've noticed their preference in jean's fit is snu...

Re: Does Troy Dumas use a bulge enhancer?

I think it is safe to assume that is a diver is seen in a particular brand of suits whenever you see him and it is mentioned in articles about him at the very least the suits are provided for him. He may even get compensation for wearing them. Yeah. I've read that Dumas wears Speedo and La Ning (sp...

Re: Does Troy Dumas use a bulge enhancer?

Haven't yet found the photos showing what is clearly a cup of sorts under Dumas's speedo. He was wearing a lighter blue pair and the white enhancer is perfectly clear through the suit. Anyway, here is a link to a video of him diving. His perfectly formed and very large bulge is clear. Some rear shot...

Re: Does Troy Dumas use a bulge enhancer?

So I read that Troy likes/wears Li Ning diving suits. How are diving suits different from other speedos? Besides the fuller rear coverage? They look every bit as tight and show things off more it seems than standard speedos. Judging from Troy and Depaties and others. It seems not all divers wear div...

I still want to purchase a Eure-cut speedo. Any recommendations? I agree with Texas that ebay is your best bet. Set up a saved search so you get an email as soon someone puts one up for auction. I've done that for hard to get accessories for my Canon digital camera and it worked! :-] jj Justin than...

Help finding Euro-cut Aquablade?

I want to purchase a Euro-cut aquablade and am having trouble finding these items. Checked out EbayUK and they had aquablades for sale. it came up on a google search for Euro-aquablade. Re: Does Troy Dumas use a bulge enhancer?

Speaking of Troy does anyone have photos of him and his brother when they dived together?

Can't find any. Mostly I find current photos of Troy, great bod at 32, and photos from the last (2008) Olympics.

I think his brother stopped competitve diving to go into the military.

Re: Speedo Subreddit

Great site and great photos. Speedos are turning into a dinasaur sadly. So it's good to try to promote them and try to prevent their extinction. Really like the Tom Daly clips. He is not especially well endowed - I can relate - but still his self-assurance in speedos is very sexy. Sometimes less is...
