Oh, yeah! I meant that maybe these guys who roll their board shorts up will start wearing shorter shorts and then eventually speedos. Wishful thinking I guess lol.

If they're endangering or emotionally abusing you, you might want to talk with someone you trust like a councilor or therapist. Otherwise, like the other guys said, you could try to talk to them about it- you might not be able to change their opinions about speedos, but you could ask them to be nice...

I don't shave my junk, it's too time consuming, I'm not very good at it, and I hate getting itchy afterwards. I just trim down there, and shave my cheeks and upper thighs.

I almost always double suit, with a tighter one under for comfort and a regular one on top for drag and so it covers a little bit more. It's not for modesty, just so I feel comfortable and so I know I can do a flip turn and not come up with no suit, lol.

I'd encourage you to keep at least a few pairs! You can always wear them at the pool, at home, and on vacation. I'm sorry to hear you feel that way though- let's hope speedos come back into style in the U.S. soon.

I ran track in high school and still run for fitness, and personally I don't find tights all that comfortable. I run in a jockstrap to keep everything tucked in nice and snug, and pretty short shorts so my legs can move easily.
