I've got several pairs, they are very comfortable. Probably thinner than a standard speedo and not as tight or sexy but good for what they are.

The Infinitex ones are just nylon lycra (maybe chlorine resistant lycra). The Infinitex Plus ones are different, but I don't know what they're like.

We have a sports direct and a decathlon near me. Sports Direct is a mess. Never tidy, clothes on the floor getting trodden on. I had the opposite experience with sizes: Adidas was the only brand I ever needed to go down a size! In other brands like speedo, I usually wear 28, but with an Adidas 3-stripe Infinitex, I needed a 26. It's the only Adidas suit I ever had, so I'm not sure if it was a fluke. Me too, the Adidas ones...
